Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Program

The Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Program is designed to make a difference in the lives of sexually-abused children and their families.

Listening Ear provides resources for children and adolescents ages 3 – 17 who have been recent victims of sexual abuse and reside in Isabella or Clare Counties.

Services Available

The program offers services from the point of disclosure through the legal process, to termination and follow-up. Services include assessment, consultation, counseling that is focused and time-limited, emotional support and referral for abused children and their families.

Referral Process

Children enter the program by referral from a Protective Services worker at the Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS), the police department, the court system, or other community agency. Hours are flexible to meet the needs of families served. There are no consumer fees for services.

Our Therapists

The program is staffed by Master’s level Therapists who have the knowledge and skills to assess and address the needs of child victims of sexual abuse. Listening Ear’s Therapists have a strong background in child development, family functioning, and collaborative services. If you’d like more information, please call us at (989)772-2918.
